About Joanna Maneckji
Joanna Maneckji invented a collage-based process for individual and teams for solving problems and visualising the future called “Creative Contemplation” that marries her expertise in learning design, people development and art.
She developed the process through experiencing for herself the deeply relaxing and healing effects of collage making.
In 2022, after a 25 year career in corporate Learning & Development, Joanna founded Sunny Acres, a company that marries people development and art. Creative Contemplation is a creative process designed for us to slow down, express what is significant and then take long lasting action.
Joanna has a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Smith College and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the School for International Training. She is also a certified coach from the NeuroLeadership Institute. Joanna’s personal strengths are responsibility, empathy and seeing each person as a unique individual with their own challenges and gifts. These strengths make her a good listener and ensure that she stays on the path with her coachees, providing structure and a safe space for their journey to unfold.
In 2023 she published her first book, “Letters to My Grandfather”, an illustrated children’s book about love and loss.

In 2024, Joanna was awarded "Most Promising Artist" in Singapore in the UOB Painting of the Year competition.
